The AIPP Epson State Awards has run its course, crowning winners in each Australian state and territory.
The Epson State Awards roll out across the country over three months, opening back in March for South Australia and Northern Territory, and concluding this week with the Australian Capital Territory.
The print-based contest has six core categories, with a total of 15 categories and awards handed out if the required number of entries are met. An overall State Professional Photographer of the Year is then selected from the category winners, based on an entrants’ four printed images.
Live judging events takes place, which is streamed to entrants and viewers who cannot be in attendance.
The awards are open to everyone, with the bulk of entries come from AIPP members.
